Dr. Luther Walls is a board-certified Family Medicine physician and the Chief Medical Officer at Care Alliance Health Center. He earned his M.D. from Loyola University Chicago and completed residency at the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System, where he served as Co-Chief Inpatient Resident. Dr. Walls provides comprehensive care to patients of all ages—including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics—and performs a variety of in-office procedures, including those related to women’s health. He is deeply committed to dismantling barriers to healthcare through system-level innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a focus on underserved populations. His clinical interests include population health, chronic disease management, HIV treatment and prevention, substance use treatment, and behavioral health. With experience across FQHCs, academic medical centers, and correctional health systems, he champions integrated care models that address social determinants of health and empower patients through shared decision-making.
