Dr. Ken J.A. Griffin is a seasoned healthcare executive and servant leader with over two decades of experience in healthcare operations, nonprofit management, and public health strategy. He currently serves as the President and CEO of Care Alliance Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to improving health equity and delivering high-quality, compassionate care to underserved communities in Cleveland.
Born and raised in Wellston, Missouri, Dr. Griffin’s passion for accessible and just healthcare is rooted in personal experience. That passion has guided a career spanning leadership roles at community health centers, public health departments, and national nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining Care Alliance, he served as Chief Operating Officer for both a major social service organization and a FQHC look-alike, where he led strategic transformations in operations, workforce development, and service expansion.
Dr. Griffin holds a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management. He is known for leading with vision, compassion, and accountability—prioritizing patient outcomes, employee development, and community partnerships. Under his leadership, Care Alliance is growing its impact through innovative programs, strategic investments, and a renewed focus on cultural humility and health justice.
Beyond his professional work, Dr. Griffin is deeply committed to mentorship, legacy-building, and spiritual growth. He serves on several boards and commissions focused on mental health access, men’s wellness, and community engagement. He believes in leading by example and creating systems that outlive the leader—ones rooted in dignity, integrity, and meaningful change.
